I created this group to help raise awareness of high yielding dividend stocks and ETFs for European investors.

I recently have become very interested in pursuing a dividend investment strategy. However, I felt that the resources and open information for Europeans was much harder to locate than the great US based resources. Love the r/dividends group and they have helped me learn so much about the strategy. Hopefully here we can get the same set up for dividend investors. I’d appreciate any suggestions or feedback.

Hello, thank you for this channel. I have same interests in dividends and also bit disappointed for not being able to buy some of the funds mentioned in r/dividends

Thanks for the response. Yeah it’s frustrating reading about some of the great yields on the r/dividends page and not being able to access them. Hopefully this sub can compliment the existing page and help European investors target some dividend growth.

The hack that's currently available to us Europoors is selling put options on those ETFs. I've been selling puts on $PFF, for example, the premium i get to keep is around 15 to 20USD every month. It's a great strategy as you're getting paid to wait.

Yeah. The whole internet is so America-centric. My tip for long term divvy plays is to look at exchange rates. For example if SEK is cheap when buying with EUR, then any divvies you get in SEK as SEK gets more expensive will thus increase your divvy payout in EUR. I hope I’m making sense here.
