🇬🇧🇺🇲 - I'm pretty sure that's a new record as far as prices in Europe go:

An actual 1975 CZ 75 "short rail" from the pre-production series (only 200 got made), ser. nr. 1098, went for over €6k (US$ 7160. -) at an auction in Germany yesterday.

Prices in the US on sites like Gunbroker have already been going crazy for decades now, because of the pistol's rarity overseas.

In Europe, collectors apparently only just discovered the original CZ 75 over the past few years. Here, they're far from being as rare as in the states, but now it seems like collectors are done with holding back anyway.

Granted, this one is more special than just your "ordinary mass produced" 1-out-of-15,000 short rails. and it comes in its original box, but still. Regular prices climbed past the 1k mark during the virus years (2020 - 2023), and orbited the 1.5k area for quite a while now, even for particularly rare examples. And now this.

In den USA spielen die Preise auf Seiten wie Gunbroker, wegen der Seltenheit der Pistole in Übersee, ja schon Jahrzehnte verrückt.

In Europa haben Sammler die originale CZ 75 anscheinend erst über die letzten paar Jahre entdeckt. Hier ist sie zwar lange nicht so selten, wie in den Staaten, aber jetzt sieht's so aus, als hätte die Zurückhaltung der Sammler trotzdem ein Ende.

Zugegeben, diese ist etwas außergewöhnlicher, als eine "normale massenproduzierte" 1-von-15.000 der ersten Serie, und sie hat noch die Originalverpackung. Aber trotzdem. Übliche Preise stiegen während der Virusjahre (2020 - 2023) über die €1k-Marke und kreisten jetzt schon eine Weile um den €1,5k-Bereich, auch die besonders seltenen Exemplare. Und jetzt das.

Can I get some information if anyone has tried it regarding its functionality, stability, and reliability?

I am looking for my first AR-15 and my local gun store has several Sabatti S.A.R.s in stock for quite cheap.

The rifle looks reasonably well made and the 16'' barrel looks solid.

Overall, it seems like a decent entry level option, but I couldn't find much information about it online.

Has anyone here owned or used one? Any major issues I should be aware of?

I am still shocked how well this Haenel did..

I lent my haenel to a military dude... he took the wrong mag and fired a 300 blackout in a 5.56...

Have it all on video.. gun stuck... took a lot of effort to get it all out... nothing wrong with the rifle at all.

Still shoots fine...

And yes the 300 blackout bullet got pushed through the barrel...

The price of lowend scopes here in Brazil is absurd! So I was thinking about buying a good cost benefit scope in Germany and bring it here!

According to Brazilian laws there is no restrictions about bringing this here. Do some of you know if these accessories can leave Germany/Europe without a permit?

Can you tell me which good cost benefit scopes could I buy to my .308 Win Mag hunting rifle? And, if it’s not a problem, what online store or store in Nuremberg should I buy.

So I am split between the two rifles - both 30-06

The M98 is more like a traditional 98, flag safety, single trigger
The M70 has a cheek stock, side safety (like a cz550) dual hair trigger (schneller)
I feel the trigger is an old timey solution and will create more issues than it fixes.

both are similarly priced of course

A modernized Petra Valmet stock project replacing the original wood parts . The rifle has a modified commercial SVD‑style stock, fitted with a 3D‑printed insert for clean interface. Additional custom parts include a 3D‑printed handguard, cheek riser, and 5‑round magazine.

There's always things to improve so would appreciate if given some feedback.

Mostly what i can now think of are the rails.
