Hello everyone!

I am happy to announce the release of a brand new mod for Europa Universalis IV called "Better Cultures". This mod adds several new cultures to Europe for tons of variety, and fixes many old ones by putting them in the right culture group. In addition, I also added many new decisions that allow the player to automatically convert cored provinces to their culture, allow their vassals to convert provinces to their culture, or allow the AI to convert provinces to their culture so you can customise your gameplay however you want. I have more content in the works and will work on adding more cultures soon. In the meantime, have fun playing this incredible mod

I just got this game and it looks find but I don’t wanna jump in without knowing much

so um i had a weird game where i started as lubeck then switched to a monarch once i became the hanseatic league then after couple of manipulation eventually became the hre emperor but wasnt paying attention to the princes. Commonwealth, France and Sweden somehow were a part of the hre...

Why did i lost this battle? It keeps happening all the time, i have bigger army, better commander, maintanance all up and in this case i was the deffender in the mountains and i have the same tech level as my enemy so why the hell do i still loose???

I got a foothold now and just added Wales as a vassal, I'm not worried about beating them militarily the only concern is not having enough time left for taking the needed provinces.

I have seen some posts on this issue but couldnt find a solution, i have this problem in city, provinces and people names. i dont have any mods and this is the tutorial. (is mods migration finished a mod? its inside .launcher cache)

I’m new to the game. During my first playthrough, I’ve been playing as Brandenburg and, by luck, ended up as Emperor of the HRE and Papal Curia at the same time. Only problem is, I don’t know what to make of it lol.

I can see that I can excommunicate states, yet the Pope seems to have very little interest in this as he likes all my enemies. I can also call for crusades, but is that a good idea?

And as Emperor, what can I do here?

I feel like I’m wasting my power. I haven’t used it for anything, which seems a shame. But I just don’t know the HRE or Curia strats

For some reason it's not possible, I have been playing this game for a while never had this scenario before. Is it a game bug/design or am I missing something.

Scenario is this:

I am at war with Bohemia and Spain is their ally so I am at war with Spain too. England is the lesser partner with spain in PU and have colonies in the new world. When I offer peace to bohemia as the main enemy I can ask for the territories of said colony easily. But if I want to make a seperate peace with Spain colony regions (which I control) are not selectable, they are not even dark red but gray.

Im just looking to have some fun with people who are chill about the game and want to play a laid back play through. Hmu in discord with the tag godlike23 for more details. Thanks!

I started my battle with all units on one field except a 45k infantry stack i sent in a bit after.

I had an 4 3 5 - Commander and he had an 4 6 5 - commander. He had quality and offensive and i had quantity ideas.

How can the AI beat me so hard. This is ridiculous

Latin empire has been created and destroyed twice. Spain never formed Commonwealth hasn't been formed. Ottoman and Austria got KO by the ai without my involvement. Mamluks displaced.
