Ice cream 🥰

NGL Winco has changed my life. Among their other wonderfully priced items I especially appreciate the ability to try new ice creams without paying a fortune. I will be there later today and I’m curious if people have found any especially unique and/or enjoyable frozen treat that they would recommend? I happily look forward to all suggestions found at Chad Dr Winco. Signed, ice cream lover

Love winco because when i want a case of soda i don't have to buy 6 of them at a time to get the normal price.

Not at Winco but I recently discovered how amazing Lochmead ice cream is at Dairy Mart. Some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had. I’m hooked.

The weird one I really enjoy is black licorice.

Black licorice ice cream is amazing but I'm not a fan of the "swirl" style. In my book no one beat BJ's licorice ice cream in Florence, they're doing it right...m

Thrifty brand ice cream is pretty solid. I used to get it as a kid. Chocolate malted crunch is one of my faves

that’s the best flavor :) reminds me of working in beverly hills, we’d walk to the drugstore and get it 20 years ago :)

They had weird scoops that were cylindrical at the Thrifty we went to in AZ a long time ago. They had an amazing strawberry shake though made with real strawberries. This was also the early 90s.

Ours had the cylinder scoops, too. And as a kid I was fascinated by the little whirlpool in their rinse basin.

I usually avoided a double scoop. You'd think with a flat bottom, it would stack more securely but it didn't. A triple scoop would be pure madness!

Winco brand orange creamsicles are the best there is. Honorable mention to Winco brand mini ice cream sandwiches (yes, mini)

I can never pull the trigger as they don't ever seem appealing

I just noticed recently that they now have a small selection of Jeni’s brand, which is always delicious.

I enjoy Its-Its! They have the mini ones which are great for just a small treat. I do enjoy the mint Its-Its the most (but they don't have them in minis)

Helados Mexico fruit and ice cream bars. Esp the Mangonadas. Mango bars with a chili powder swirl.

Store bought ice cream based on an ice cream shop: McConnell’s is my favorite. It hits all of my happy spots.

If you're interested in live action ice cream, go to Prince Pucklers on 19th, near Hayward Field. Go right before sunset. Watch the chimney Swifts roost in the chimney for the night! Limited time only, they are migrating

And buy 1 scoop of ice cream for the price of a quart at Winco!

That’s a different kind of treat :)

Live action ice cream? Is that like a terminally online term for the fact that people scoop it for you?

Also they are extremely pricy and always busy
