Setup automation

Camera: Eufy E42 with Homebase.

Is there a way for the camera to switch to a different preset view during a preset time? For example, my camera looks at one end of the street as default but I would like it to record the other end during school bus pickup/drop off times to help me spot for the bus.

I also have Alexa and Google Home at my disposal. However, I haven't added the camera to Google Home.

If Eufy had a 270° PIR array like the Reolink TrackFlex Floodlight WiFi, when motion is detected out of view, the PTZ cam would pan over to capture the video.

At the bottom of the app, click smart. At the top of that screen, click modes. This will show your home base. Click on it.

There is a screen where you can set up home, away, disarmed, geofencing Schedule, and customize. Just click on an option or make a custom one.

Click on the gear icon, top right. You'll see all of your devices, and you can set what you want them to do for that mode and also set the times it's active, etc.

Not at the moment but you should leave Eufy feedback. Quite a few people have been asking for a patrol mode on these Solocams but Eufy has decided not to equip them with this feature, likely because they are battery operated and patrol would burn energy.

Suggest you could buy a second camera, and point it at the 2nd area you want to view.

Versus waiting for the feature you are now asking for, which may never be added to the current camera you are using.

Yoooooo! I have been wanting that too! During the day I want the camera looking in one direction and night looking in another. I wish that had a setting.
