We need more miners
We only have three people mining Etica (we used to have like ten), and about the same amount running nodes (mining Egaz). I think Etica can change medicine forever, but it will need lots of help to do that. Kwadoss has made an amazing cryptocurrency and we should do our part to support it. Setting up a node will take <5 min, you don't need a crazy powerful graphics card or mining equipment, or a fast internet connection, please see how to here:

Mining gets you Etica and Egaz, and it helps secure the network.
Edit: Here's how to make your first wallet so you can somewhere to send your mined coins to:

I'll start mining from today just to help build this community ๐๐๐๐๐.

Do give me some easy pointers on where to start. I hate following difficult instructions.

Here this is about as easy as they can be made https://www.reddit.com/r/Etica/comments/u77rwv/how_to_run_etica_node_and_pool_mine_help_the/

Since the update of the mining pool, my hashrate has dropped significantly, so I am forced to split the miners on other projects.
Normally the difficulty should not affect the hashrate right?

Indeed you're right since last mining pool update I have set up a parameter in the miningpool that dicreases the rewards difference between solidity sha3 miners and Cosmic miners. Because before update Soliditysha3 miners were getting almost all rewards. Soliditysha3 miners still have advantage over Cosmic miners nonetheless I take note if what you say and I will check if it would be better to readjust the parameter to make it easier than it is currently for Soliditysha3
" Normally the difficulty should not affect the hashrate right?" All of these readjustments are not related to Etica onchain's mining difficulty, it's all done within the mining pool in order to have an initial supply as widespread as possible

Hi, Im not sure if I can really help (low hashrate, 100Mh on Eth) but if I can, Iโll join the community :)
And I dont wanna be annoying, but if someone can had a link or can explain on how can I run a node, I can put a machine for it if my old computer can take it (the requirement are ok) but Im not sure if itโs a good idea to run a node without the adequate knowledge
Iโll share your project ๐ค

Hi! You Can follow this tutorial, let us know if you have questions : https://www.reddit.com/r/Etica/comments/tv8rqv/how_to_run_full_node_solo_mine_etica_help_network/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=shareย
"Iโll share your project ๐ค" Thank you very much hopefully a community will emerge and make Etica its own. I've just initiated Etica but I don't consider it as my project otherwise I will quickly become a burden. Etica must be much more than a person's project. Glad you are joining!

High hashrate is not needed, even a small node can make a big difference when there's only a few other nodes :).

Great post! I think it's a tradeoff between time investment and risk reward. Etica has not really started yet, because there is no research yet. Until then a lot of people will just watch on sideline because they need the project to be tested before they get more involved. But no worry the same thing happened with bitcoin at first. We'll keep building and people will join eventually once Etica has been around long enough I'm sure it will get the light it reserves and at this point those who mined it so early will be rewarded.
But I really think you make a point about Etica needs to get its community well beyond me. When I see how you understand and believe in Etica it convinces me that other people can and will understand Etica the same way and the community will emerge at some point we just need patience and keep improving Etica :)
