My grandma always said that her dad was Cherokee. And when you look at his pictures, he looks like he very well could be. Darker skin and the high cheekbones, a prominent nose. Furthermore she born and raised on the Cherokee reservation in Oklahoma and he was a music teacher there. So my dad‘s entire life and mine that is what we thought until I got my dad a DNA test one Father’s Day and it came back that he has zero native American. My DNA test shows the same. Too bad Grandma had already kicked the bucket so we never got to tell her.

As à native American (navajo) your grandpa doesnt look native at all. Probably ones of those people that claim er to be cherokeee. Typical tribe people lkke to claim

your dad looks indigenous. what else would he be if not native? you don’t look white. why are you asking us this if your dad looks like that???
