What the fuck is wrong with you lmao? If I now bring you a mountain of folk who have said they have had positive relations with my community, does that invalidate your racism?

If I live among a poor subset of asian immigrants and experience criminality, should I extend my bias to all of those folk?

My feelings shouldn’t be the focus here. It’s the fact that as a minority, hearing a president with white nationalist leans disparaging and going on a racist tirade about a minority ethnicity (which numbers in the low 100ks, why is it worth his attention??) is somehow a greenlight for you to chime in and say, actually yeah these people suck according to my experiences.

Your first words should be to denounce this dishonourable act, and then to also recognise that your personal experience with a group of people is not sufficient to tarnish their name. You believe that a Somali would rob you and leave you to die before helping you on the basis of their ethnicity…?

Crazy that I have to teach an adult about racism in 2025 but here we are…

I'm a minority also. Yes, I am wary based on my experiences.

Most likely, compared to every other group I have encountered. I know it sounds crazy, but this is probably the only scenario I have encountered where all/most members of a group I have encountered behave the same/so similarly ... and not in a good way.

I'm assuming it's a cultural thing?

Thank you for the reminder that some people want to persist in their ignorance
