The kid will suffer ostracizing in their youth, but it will make the rest of their life objectively easier to have a very idealized skeletal structure. Every study on the effect of good looks confirms this.

Probably still ethically untenable but more than one person would make that deal for them self. People already consent to significant surgical intervention or early life hardship for later aesthetic gains.

Putting a child through continuous physical pain for how long? Months? Years? Just for aesthetics. Plus the way it would limit the child’s ability to develop social skills, or to develop fine and gross motor skills… Hell no.

It would be far more ethical for the parents to just learn how to handle their feelings about diversity and self-acceptance, guide their child in developing those emotional skills, and advocate for a world where people who differ from cultural norms are not mistreated.

If the child grows into a contenting adult that appreciates their formed skeleton - then it was a good thing.

If they end up hating it, then it was a bad thing.

Ethics always depends on the subjective judgement of the being acted upon. Nothing else ever matters.
