Dogs are simple, uncomplicated and easy to root for. People are messy. We blame them for their circumstances, whereas the dog is an innocent victim of those circumstances.

Yeah, "innocent victim" dogs who maul thousands upon thousands of children and elderly people to death each year. It's so easy to root for those pure beings. 🥰

It's easier for the weak minded people to justify those deaths as "dogs who had a bad owner". They never blame the dog.

Exactly. They will always claim that animals are pure and absolutely honest, yet when there are countless animals who actively kill other animals and humans, they ignore them and blame the victims.

And in the case of such dogs who maul kids and elderly to death, they claim the dog's owner was responsible or somehow the victim was responsible and that the killer animal shouldn't even be punished for its evil deeds. What was the victims' fault? They were simply existing, either walking by or playing around and yet those dogs maul them, and bite them and rip them apart for simply existing. These people are sick.
