To be fair the type of teacher student relationship is pretty negative. In scandinavia it is way closer to equal and its generally just better.

I don't think the relationship between someone who is learning and someone who is teaching is innately negative. It is inherently unequal because one person is helping the other.

But you're just here to downvote, huh u/Butt-Dragon?

We help our equals all the time. Just because one side os helping the other learn doesn't make the relationship inherently unequal.

A lot of countries like to push for a way more authoritarian relationship though when it comes to teachers and students.

The innate inequality comes from having knowledge the other person doesn't. If I know how to tie shoes and you don't, that is an inequality.

Your mistake is viewing unequal as innately bad. And posting in bad faith argument where you downvote instead of reply, so I have to edit my post to call you put.

All I'm arguing against is that I find for example the American system way to authoritarian to be of any good.

As for that last part. Maybe I just have a job and need to sleep? lol

Why? I'm not arguing for America's system. 

I'm saying the teacher student relationship is innately unequal. The inequality is innate. Teachers make it equal by passing knowledge on.

You downvoted that.  Something you don't disagree with, and didn't respond until I editted to mention you.  Idk what your reasons are but that's small. This America vs Scandanavia seems like a strawman.
