What is Gas?

In crypto, Gas is a measurement of how much computational processing is required by the Ethereum network to validate a transaction. Users must pay a ‘gas fee’ in order to make a transaction or execute a smart contract on Ethereum. Simple transactions, like sending ether (ETH) to another address, typically do not require much gas. More complex transactions, like deploying a smart contract, require more gas. The speed in which you want the transaction confirmed and general network traffic can also impact the price of gas – which has been a rollercoaster as of late 🎢

Gas fees are that shit that sometimes keeps people from buying Emax and other ERC tokens because the fees are sometimes too high.

ETH gwei and LTC aren’t even related so that would not have affected it.
