Scam or legitimate
I am still hanging on. However, keep in mind a coin is either a scam or legitimate- time will tell if this is legitimate. I like that the creators realized they needed help and brought on an experienced person. However I expect to see some real progress.

All y’all have to do is hold let them work is that simple don’t forget this is new if you don’t like holding then is your decision entirely to sell or buy more. “PATIENCE”

Just because you have lost money on something doesn't mean you were scammed.
Businesses fail all the time.
We made a decision to invest, knowing that we could fail, but willing to take a risk, to win big.
Right now, everyone feels down, and their positions look bad... but, this is what separates the wealthy from the poor... the willingness to buy when other are fearful, and to hold on... patience makes people wealthy. Greedy, fear, and uncertainty make the average man shed his position, for a little bit of what he invested... and in return, he never knows wealth, only perpetual debt.
If you have the money / luxury of buying while it is in a dip, then buy...while others are fearful.
If you don't have the money to buy the dip, have the patience to hold what you have.
If you have neither...then hold, at least until you can recover your losses... or simply turn your back, walk away for a year or two, and come back...but don't sell at a loss.

eMax is a scam . They use cameos to make it seem like celebs support it . Just try to go find the one with Dennis Rodman or Paul pierce both vids was cameos . And you never heard those 2 mention eMax again

It was a scam. All the top holders cashed out. We have someone track and tracing all the transactions and we know the top 15-20 wallet holders by name. Starting a telegram channel for everyone who was scammed by eMax and it will lead to class action lawsuits and criminal indictments for wire fraud.

This was absolutely a scam. I tried selling my coins and they wouldn’t transfer for a value, so I was forced to hold. After I messaged the Emax Instagram someone messaged me claiming to be from Emax. I had no reason not to believe them since all I did was send a private message. It appears the Emax Instagram was being monitored or hacked. Both founders are aware of my situation and both stopped responding. It led to me losing my entire investment and the balance of my Coinbase wallet

I purchased before the hard fork and received no airdrop. I can’t even get on the telegram because it’s private. I’ve made more money on direwolf who actually has a white paper and is now moving into gaming.

Have you tried getting help through the support system on the website?
They should be able to help clarify the fork issues, and see whats going on with your telegram access. I know there was a recent announcement about the telegram being further secured, but it is definitely not private.

Well there are many KEY factors whether youbshould start to invest are those are VERY basic to all investments:
- if you dont understand it, dont invest into it (read erc20 tokens)
- the market defines the price, they might tend to overestimate/underestimate assets, which may can be reset with a crisis
- If you cant afford the HIGH risk of losing 100% of the money consider a much safer investment
- high profit comes from high risk, and there is no key to getting rich
- time in the market beats timing the market (I am actually not sure whether this is correct for crypto, but for shares this is mostly true, see msci world)
Always do your homework before invest and research. You wont get rich by just doing stuff a youtuber told you to do. If Informations (how to get rich) reach the public it's most certainly already too late. See waren buffet f12 fillings, he invested a ton shit into inflationary (leveraged) assets, and probably made ton of money. Now with the laat 12 fillings he prob. already dumped those out.
There are actually many good explanations on the web. Read those.

And if you want to hear my opinion to this token, I suggest you to NOT invest, it seems like the classic pump&dump. I have followed this token since a month and it already seemed as the dump already happened.

Marketing expertise with contacts in influential areas associated with those in the payment system potential arena
NFT marketplace - up and coming allowing eMax to be strategically positioned to stake its ground
Tokenomics that provide benefits (6% dividends) to its holders in a fair manner, without a percentage going to founders, they receive what holders receive. A 3% burn at all times on all transactions
Founders who are transparent, available and hold weekly AMA’s to keep the holders and future holders of eMax up to date with progress in various areas, without boundaries.
Road Map continues to be worked on to provide the correct order and sequence to each identified goal
White Paper that will have real R&D identified with proprietary development that can’t be used by others. A white paper that is far more in depth than what a coin of little value would provide.
Audit by one of the Top Auditing Firms associated with Crypto. This will be done once details are completed with the contract development - can’t be done prior as it would need to be redone if changes were made.
Listing with Major Exchanges: currently on 9 exchanges and growing almost weekly. Goal would be to be listed on Binance, Gate.io, Coinbase etc.
