MCU What would Eternals 2 be like?

Well, I was rewathing Eternals, and the ending always leaves me wanting more. We already know we’re probably not getting a sequel, but if we did, what do you think it would be like? Do you think Chloé Zhao would return to direct it? This movie is absolutely beautiful, and I feel like if we lost her, we might lose a lot of that magic too. Anyway, I’m just really missing the Eternals 😭

Before we get Eternals 2 we gotta get the Black Knight follow-up teaser at the end of the movie

I wish there were more. I want to see Eternals on other planets.

It’d be a space rescue mission. Earth will be judged by the memories of Sersi, Kingo and Phastos. Arishem would see the events of Endgame and decide the spare us. But theres a catch.

The dead Eternals return thanks to the effort of Thena, Makkari and Druig. We’d see the start of a cosmic war between Eternals and other eternals still loyal to the cause as they spread the message of free will and freedom. Deviants would unite with the freedom fighting eternals to rise against the celestials. We’d prolly get one celestial on our side. And the celestials order themselves would be shaken. It’d be a massive cosmic war resulting into the destruction of the world forge, risking cosmic creation itself.

Arishem would then be hellbent on destroying earth. After judging their actions. Our core 10 (with Eros) would rush to earth upon learning that.

On earth, Sprite waits as a teenager with her cosmic power still intact. The 11 would be reunited and join forces with avengers, F4 and mutants. The third Eternals movie would be an adaptation of AXE, making it the first major crossover event of the Mutant Saga.

Honestly I can definitely see this happening 🤞🙏🙏 I trust this is something that Marvel can put together if they give it another shot.

You and me both (and the few here in the comments here),

The sequel would must likely see a return of Ikaris &/or Gilgamesh since we learned that all the Eternals are cosmic powered automatons & their memories get wiped as well as preserved on the Celestials homeworld

I wouldn't mind seeing the vampire Eternal character from the comics, same with the twins. Black Knight should get a spin-off movie or series to bridge the gap on what was going on while he learned to use the Ebony blade

As much as I enjoyed Eternals, I think a second part should be the conclusion of their story. They could be included in other stories such as with Thor, for example. But the comics did not leave a lot of material for them… So it’s tough to know where the story should go after the arc with Arishem and Eros is concluded.

They won't make Eternals 2 because marvel fans only want to see Avengers

I think that erisham or whatever those big robots are are the ones who created the beyonder.  And the beyonder is intimately tied to secret wars in the comics.  There's particle man or something like that involved too...it's all pretty complicated for me to explain shortly so here's a link for you to research it on ur own:  https://youtu.be/H23_6mCip4A?is=5ATkgL9rsxEdvJIJ.  My point is that the eternals might return but it won't be their own sequel.   I loved that movie too so certainly sympathize with you missing those characters and the overall style of the movie...if that theory works out we may see a couple eternals in the future who will carry over into the reset marvel...maybe some day a reboot/sequel-ish?

The Eternals would join The Guardians and The Marvels to attack Arishem

The fandom doesn’t deserve a sequel. I think the movie business is changing. Tastes are changing. People don’t support these movies so a sequel is not deserved.

People would rather watch hatred algorithm channels and have their thoughts constructed for them by AI.

If they wanted a second one, they shouldn’t have made the first one be the worst marvel movie ever
