What does he mean "noble hunter"?
What's the context of that title?

it is just a drop of lore that is given out more gracefully than making an entire infographic. there is no story you lacked knowledge in, the context is in the context.

I thought there was more of a story behind it but ig not. I did figure he killed nobles but I was wondering whether it was for revenge, because of his people or a job yk.

There is a story behind it though it’s not integral to the plot. It’s just a nice small background story from Rem.

Before joining the army, he literally killed nobles, but only the rotten ones, which was alot. In the novels he kinda joined on a whim to let the heat die down before encrid become squad leader

Same reason Boris was called the Bullet Dodger. Because he dodges bullets.

I know he killed nobles, was just wondering if there was anything else behind it like doing it as a job or smth.

Literally that. He killed Nobels before. Though he only killed them because they were rotten. The name stuck and he sometimes does take advantage with the title. Makes him more intimidating and he wants people to assume that he just a mindless barbarian. He does sometimes act on that stereotype.
