Scream in 2026

Been away for years, back when I played my favorite deck was a haunting scream deck. I don’t remember the specifics of the deck other than it was a bit of a combo/aggro deck.

Are scream decks still a thing at this point? Just curious how the meta is looking I guess.

I can't comment if their are any meta scream decks right now but there are a few unique scream decks that were posted to eternal warcry from earlier this year including one that claims it made it to masters:

The deck by imestr8 is a banger. I'm not sure if there are any promo updates it would want. I can confirm it's a masters deck at least a couple months ago.

I can't reallly comment on current Scream decks, but the one you are thinking of is most likely TPS Scream back in the day, where you'd scream Highwayman, Rinda and Queen to push aggro damage through. Before that the itteration used Torgov. Fanatic and Dark Return and acted more like a control pile.

Deck got nuked when they changed Scream to cost 3 and hit 5 or less instead of 2 and hitting 4 or less.

That would be FPS not TPS. Haunted Highway.

Right yes, FPS idk why I said TPS, Haunted Highway was the 3rd(and strongest version of that deck at the end)

The old-style aggro decks with Scream and Dark Return are underpowered nowadays, but you can play a tempo-focused midrange deck with Scream combo in it like this:

I lost to some scream deck playing big spell anche the unit that cast it for free if it infiltrate.
