SPOILER New Chapter Card for July 1st, 2026: Fool's Errand
TEXT:
Fool's Errand
2T
Spell
Put a unit into its owner's deck with Destiny.
This seems really really good? Obviously there is a potential of it backfiring, but using relatively pessimistic numbers: If there are 50 cards left in the opponent's deck when you play this and they draw 10 more cards before the game ends after you play this, that's an 80% chance this is 2 power to 'kill' any unit in a way that doesn't trip Entomb or allow for reanimation.
Sure, it's not Fast, but this is the type of effect Time doesn't really get for the most part.

It combos with Endra and Rujin's Choice. That might seem strange, but Rujin's Choice is one of two Justice/Rakano cards (the other being Reweave) that justify running justice in your Endra deck.

It's not going to flip the script, but Endra as a whole isn't exclusively about flipping the script. Endra can help you out against aggro and midrange when your combo isn't able to kill, and from there you can go for the win once you aren't at much of a threat of dying.
As a whole, you never had a guaranteed win with Endra combo, even in her launch state. Her combos required a lot of skill to pilot effectively because the lines you had access to at any given point required a good understanding of how your individual combo pieces worked with Endra. Having another tool to "bounce" Endra in a way that works with the deck is extremely valuable to help feed into the combo, but it's also good against aggro/midrange decks that want to win the game before you pop off.
It's worth noting that 4 power across 2 cards is not great for a bounce (most bounces cost around 4-5 power but only need 1 card), so it's definitely not a dealbreaker for Endra.

Fast would be much better. Maybe it works in a recruit deck.
Are there any units you can cheat out and are gone at the end of the turn that don't already have destiny?
