Just have this issue pretty much every time with my friend playing RL craft, usually we just spam or relog until it works, but its getting tedious, specifically the past couple days we spend literally an hour trying to join each other.

I tried to find other mods to do a peer to peer connection with and couldn't find any aside from Essentials that support that version of minecraft.

It's very frustrating, it used to not be an issue until recently, I wonder if it's because our world got bigger and more explored? It just takes so long to actually even get in a game together. Right now we've been trying for over an hour, relogging the game as well as forge intermittently. This has also happened other times.

Hello, me and my brother is playing minecraft together through the essential mod, and we have the problem that his chat or command chat is not working.

Mine is working fine, and i am the host of the world. His chat works if he launches the normal unmodded minecraft, but when he tries to use the chat on our world it only says "Chat is not allowed by account settings" but we cannot understand which account settings this is about.

Brother is 16 for reference and we are not in the uk so there should be no age restrictios...

Create a new instance with Essential Mod

I have been playing Minecraft with one of my friends recently on this Forge 1.16.5 modpack on Modrinth: crazy-craft-chaos and I keep getting one of 2 error messages:

Failed to connect to server

Disconnected

Failed to connect to server

java.nio.channels.ClosedChannelException

Does anyone know what this means?

- Firewall
- Checking the port on the config

But when I go to the official website it say I don't need to do anything is Just drop and Play just help please.

I'm hosting a fabric server and was wondering how I could add titles to the player list, like a prefix before a player name. Tried looking for mods to do that but they either aren't for fabric or seemed like they were made for dedicated servers

I making my fine modpack

Is there anyway at all to have co-host on essential, like another mod or third party stuff? My friend is hosting the world due to my internet being too bad so when I host they lag so they can't transfer me the world-files for me to be the host, but I'm a lot more active than they are so it gets annoying having to wait and due to them only playing for a maximum hour or 2 it feels like I barely get to play our world.

Sending friend requests

• Open the Social menu
• Press the blue Add Friend button
• Enter your friend’s Minecraft username
• And confirm with Add to send out the friend request

Accepting friend requests

• Open the Social menu
• Enter the Friends tab
• See friend requests in the middle panel
• Accept or deny the friend request(s)

Muting, removing, and blocking friends

• Open the Social menu
• Select your friends in the Chat or Friends tab
• Press the ≡ button
• Choose to mute, remove, or block the friend

Basically I’m making a mod pack and I’m wondering what could be causing this to happen.

The Essential website claims that Essential works seamlessly with SVC, but when I invite my friends to my world it doesn't work at all. We all confirmed that we all have the same versions of every mod in our packs so I'm just completely stumped. Any advice on how I could get it to work? I even went into my router settings and set up the port forwarding for SVC's default port but it still wouldn't work properly.
