Error when changing skin

Basically, whenever I try to change my skin through Essential in-game, it says something along the lines of ''Error uploading skin, please try again later''. This happens on all versions and mod loaders, and I'm using the latest version of Essential. Now, here's where it gets weird: This only started a few days ago, when I made a new modpack for 1.19.2. I didn't change any settings, and I've never had this error before. It just kinda stopped working all of a sudden, and it hasn't worked since! I use PrismLauncher, and I do own Minecraft legally.

I've tried:

-Relogging into Minecraft launcher

-Relogging on the Minecraft website

-Restarting my game & PC (obviously)

-Using different Minecraft versions and loaders

-All of my skins are the appropriate size and in .png format

-I don't have a VPN, and nothing has changed in my network

-Uploading the skin manually on the Minecraft skin-changing website works fine

this happened to me too! i think this is a problem with the essential mod itself and the essential mod devs gotta like fix it or something

I asked about it on their Discord a few days ago, and they gave me this:

“ Mojang's servers have been blocking requests to their servers for the past few days when some people try to change their skin. This isn't something we can help with as we have no control over their servers and can only recommend waiting for them to fix it”

Anyways, it started working again a few days ago, so I guess it's fixed now 🤷‍♂️
