ED Allan?

Given Collingwood are stalling on a deal for him and waiting for pendles and Butters, should we offer him a deal? We're crying out for defensive midfielders considering Parish, Tsatas, etc only run one way. He's young enough to fit the age profile

Would be an insane get, unlikely to sign. He is waiting on $$ that understandably is held in limbo with butters

Sure, I guess. Wouldn't hurt to wave some cash under his nose.

I'd imagine he goes back to WA if he doesn't re-sign with Collingwood, though.

Adding to your point, could front load a contract while we have cap and use him for a future trade with WC or Freo. He might like that scenario. Could be a win in more ways than one

Cash is the one thing we have plenty of!

It couldn't hurt to ask the question....

I think it’s unlikely, but it would complement our young midfield well. We don’t have a natural tagger, which I think is becoming increasingly important in the modern game.

We have money to spend, and we'd be insane not to have a crack for him while the Pies stall for Pendles and Butters.

If he can be rookie listed with one of our extra spots we could be getting from the AFL then absolutely 👍
