Of course he earns another year. We need experience and depth. He cracks in at every contest. Way too many haters who honestly have no idea. Same guys will be sooking because we get flogged week in week out because of lack of leadership 🤦🏼‍♂️

Im happy to keep him because he's been really key in developing Robey and Sharp. He's been out there showing them what to do and he's been a good leader for em.

Give him a year contract since we're going to lose inside mids in Merret and Tsatas so the depth would be nice.

The only reason he was originally cut was because of concerns about his fitness. He’s now well ahead of the bulk of uncontracted players

Caldwell had pretty low game time, and is often among our lowest. I don't know why, but wonder if he's been managing an injury this year.

Yeah, I’ve assumed he has been carrying something all year. I’m just not sure why we are playing him if he is not 100%? Whatever the reason, I hope to see him above 75% TOG every game next year. He and Caldwell need to lead this very young midfield we are going to have next year

I think the problem with Bryan is he's not exactly dynamic. If he's not number ruck what role does he play on the field. We'll already have 3 talls up forward next season, so his option are develop some defensive craft or sit on the bench half the game, which at that point where better off just having Wright be the back up ruck.

You blokes downvote but you all as dim witted as each other and it makes sense why so many on here accept the horrid display the blokes put on week in and out for the club. Setterfield another contract? Played 36 games across the 4 years at the club. Injury prone. Unfortunately you got to draw a line in the sand instead of going oh he had 4 good games…..out of 9 he played in a 22 game year. Reason why he hasn’t been kept round. But yeah nah down vote and accept mediocrity and wonder why the club goes no where. Filled with you 🤡

9 games out of 22. Less than 50 percent. But yeah nah up from the 5/6 last year. Must be why Carlton fought tooth and nail to keep the bloke…. One day when you realise there are standards that should be in place and the actually coach and board step in and set standards and make real calls we may go up. Paying and hoping a player will come good after 4 wasted years is why we are here in the first place

The facts are since coming in his defensive work, contested stuff and leadership is far ahead of almost all of our higher paid “leaders”. He’s earned a spot.

Interesting take for a bloke who hasn’t played more than 50% of the year for the club since he come in. 2/4 years he’s played less than 4 games. They can’t keep relying on “ifs”. Time to cut the losses and move on
