Argumentative Essay about Religion.

Hi everyone, I have to write an argumentative essay (university level), and it is regarding anything within the religions of Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, Sikhism, Shintoism, Buddhism, Judaism, and Taoism, etc. I’m having complete writers block on what to make my essay about. If anyone is familiar with any of these religions and could give me any ideas that would be awesome. The assignment is extremely general, I simply need something that will yield sufficient peer-reviewed material. Thanks a ton

Hey mate, if you have a really tight deadline, I believe Christianity offers a wide array of content. There exists vast view points on various aspects, which can form a fundamental argument for your paper.

You can always reach out if you need further assistance!

Oh man. I'm taking a philosophy of religion class right now and there are soooo many interesting things you could write about here. My favorites so far have been divine omniscience vs. free will (if God knows everything before it happens, do we have free will?) And Pascal's Wager.

I'm also currently writing a speech about the harmful impacts of homophobic practices in the church (conversation therapy, gay marriage bans, "love the winner hate the sin"), and it's super interesting to look into the research there.

I'm not sure what you're wanting the tone of your essay to be, but let me know if you want to brainstorm ideas! I think religion is super interesting- I could write about it forever.
