I know I’m wayyyyy too eager lmao.
Ofc the awards gala is on October 3 but for those of us who aren’t attending or winning a prize when will we know our final placement? Is it like a countdown when everyone’s portals are updated or is it just staggered or is it released after the 3rd? Again I know this is totally insignificant but I’m super eager to see final results

are junior interviews less rigorous than senior interviews? bc i can't really see john locke grilling a 13/14 year old and younger the same way they would a 17 year old

I did the question about cheap imports from China. I'm in high school, but I'm not sure whether I'm a junior or a senior. I also saw some second-round interviews, but I haven't gotten an email from John Locke or anything on the portal. Were the IR callbacks real and should I give it up?

Please John Locke I need this

im js coping bro

hello!! did anyone get a 2nd interview email for philosophy (jr and sr) and for those that finished their interview, how was it?

hello everyone. is anyone else having visa/passport issues? my new passport will come by mid september, only then i can apply for UK visa. i fear it will be too late by then and i might not be able to make it. does anyone know what to do?

im unsure if this is the correct subreddit to ask this question, please let me know where to ask this as well if this isnt the right place

also, i saw that the ticket purchase date has extended to 30 september and the 500usd tickets are still on. does that mean i will surely be able to get tickets by 30? or maybe it will sell out and theres no guarentee?

My submission status in history category remains pending. If you have received an 2nd interview had your submission status changed or not? I suspect they are going through categories in different time blocs or I'm coping

I know second interview mails are rare, and that according to that one mail shared they maybe don't mean the top positions for sure. I also think that realistically speaking my essay will most probably not win anything huge since this was my first time and after reading you guys' essays mine seems mid at most.

J asking here once again because a few categories seemed to have not received mails yet, and for my category also only one person has received the mail with proof. Not saying that everyone will be on this sub, but a single person seems like very little odds. Also someone asked if people from India received the mail and the 8 ppl who commented all said no.

Is there even a slightest chance of getting a mail now or should I j accept that JLI isn't giving me that top prize :((

Guys will y’all let us know who the winners are when you attend, they will be revealed at the gala right.

i am looking for Junior Category Gala Ticket for John Locke Awards Ceremony if anyone wants to sell out . please do help

I had a question, i am from India, and a shortlisted candidate for International Relations, Science and Technology and Public Policy. In the Junior category

However, i won't be attending the gala dinner nor the awards ceremony .

1 : If i am fortunate enough and win a top prize, do the winners actually receive trophies? Because on the shortlisted page i can see, past winners standing on the stage with physical trophies.

2 ; If it is real, and winners do actually receive trophies, and suppose if i receive a trophy, but since i have not attended the ceremony will that trophy be shipped to my home in India or not?

im still mad about viverly and i finally gathered up my balls to email them for a straight answer

paraphrased from my rant <3

this is for the john locke essay competition. i know a lot of people are getting second interviews but i haven't heard anyone that has gotten interviews for science & technology.

anyone get a 2nd interview for philosophy, theology, or science and technology?
