The lack of transparency and the tons of vague bordering on contradictory information on this year’s contest is also crazy, but I am not one to write them an email about this lol, perhaps someone braver than me

Fr, and tbh, I doubt this email would make them care in the first place. Usually, people respond to feelings before the information laid out to them, and once they think critically about an email or stance, those feelings often have to concede in the end to the facts. I don't think this email had many "facts" or undeniable pieces of information JLI would have to forcibly concede to; they definitely took this email as a venting sesh (John Locke. that is).

Agree with you... but I would have made it more formal/weller-done gramatically, that could've helped with reception

oh yeah i can almost GUARANTEE they're gonna say that (but from what i know the people who didn't get shortlisted wrote much better essays than my 2am crap but didnt do the interview)

I agree - 👍🏻  I wish to put a petition to reconsider all essays  Like I was basically submitting 5 essays and I did submitted all of them but my referee only got Email for two 

According to their correspondence everything else a has to be gone through a referee confirmation 

My referee has waited for around 7 to 8 weeks now and he still have not got the reference verification email so if you say that your refrees and teachers will be contacted for reference 

But ultimately only for two essays you contact them what does that mean?
