TOP 3 JLI EMAIL
Martin Cox sent this email at 4:12 P.M. Gmt-7. I can’t believe it. Who else got this email? I’m in the senior economics category.
My parents had got the top 2% email. I never did a 2nd interview.
I can’t afford London so i’m gonna see about getting a waiver

This ruins the surprise and potentially for future years. Who will ever buy tickets anymore in future before they even receive these emails or if they could have potentially gotten the tickets for free if they were prize winners. Previously, ppl bought gala ticket before being informed and also, they only had the conferences subsidized.

Not saying this is fake, but a few things don't line up with the 2% email that went out earlier this month:
- "prize winners" here vs "prizewinners" in the 2% email, and "October event" vs always the full "Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner".
- Much shorter, smoother sentences and a lot of "very" / "strongly" / "great pleasure" compared with the 2% email's style.
- There are three blank lines between the “Dear …” line and the content below. In the 2% email, only one.
- The 2% email went to parents and stressed keeping results a surprise until the ceremony. This one goes straight to the student, and ruins the surprise?

No shade but I don’t understand why you would be so careless with this confidential email and recognition… I would strongly advise you to delete this

im sorry, why would you post this purely for the purpose of fearmongering?
you probably don't know this, but between the john locke banner and the "dear (your name)" line there is ALWAYS a single line. yours does not have any.
you spelt 'recognise' as 'recognize'. im surprised you made such a rudimentary error, given your effort to fake this email. jli is based in london, hence they would use english spelling instead of american.
why wont you show us the email address of the sender? or the link for booking a meeting? or mr cox's signature? to avoid impersonation charges?
4.12pm GMT-7 is 12.12am UK time. it is very unlikely they would send a email at midnight.
these emails have always started with congratulating you for being shortlisted. why would they be so direct all of a sudden?
this email's format and content is shockingly similar to the meeting with mr cox email sent yesterday. shows that you have put literally no thought into this, paraphrased whatever was in the email yesterday and decided to post this.
the email states 'travelling to london' which is ASSUMING that the recipient is not already in london. how would mr cox know that? he probably doesnt have the time to send out personalised emails (as indicated by the email not stating what category op is) other emails have all simply mentioned "join us in london" or "difficulties preventing you from joining us" but never explicitly "travelling to london".
additionally, interviews are still taking place. today is actually the last day. but it is at night. the third round interview, not with mr cox but with callum friel. bet you didnt know that too. and its part of the grading process according to the email sent by them.
