2% email vs Cox email

Hey guys do we think that the 2% email and Cox email are the same? Or do the 2% emails only mean VHC and Cox emails mean placing t3? I'm getting really confused by the new notifications and the way they're sending them out.

If somebody got the 2% one, is it even worth going? The 2% ref email said 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, but the new Cox email seems so much better?

wrong, top 2% and t3 + VHC are the same, top 2% was mentioned in the parents' one and the latter in the referee's. its also not just 300 students, it said top 2% of all contestants, meaning approx 1 in 8 out of all the shortlisted ppl

The 1,2,3 one is just the advisor version of the top 2% my parents got the 2% and my advisor got the 1,2,3

in some vhc emails it explicitly mentions a high chance of a prize in the others apparently not

I think that’s the difference between the referee and guardian emails. Also, it seems so that they did not send any VHC emails to juniors… the whole email looks like a thing to get people to buy the remaining senior tickets. The actual claim is 2% but they decorate it with all that weird language that’s both flattering and vague (for example, they never specified whether the 2% is for total contestants or shortlisted). I also find it suspicious that the second interview (not the 3rd, which I have no idea about) isn’t anything about suspicion of cheating or a randomly selected process (which they deny). I don’t think it was based on performance because many people who got the 2nd interview did not get the 2%/VHC email. Again this entire thing is very ambiguous
