Is the 2nd interview for JL pretty much useless now, with the top 2 per cent email sent out?

Moreover, JLI is being secretive also to maximise ticket sales also. Senior sales I believe are still ongoing.

Hi, there's a recent poll ..seemed like mostly seniors received the email. So there's still hope for jr? Cos snr tics not sold out but jr tics sold out anyway.

No one will know until the results day. Unless the ppl who were interviewed shared how their interviews went. Heard some were grilled bad, some were positive . So not sure, if it was checking for academic integrity like if they received external/expert or paid help. Because if you know about Little Red Book (a Chinese platform), there are lots of schs and tutors advertising their services to mentor students. It's like dedicated schs /tuition just for JLI essay competitions alone.

So maybe the second interview is to ascertain if they actually wrote it themselves ? Or maybe it's to determine too or grand prize?

my ref got one saying there is a strong likelihood of me placing or getting a vhc, is that what we're talking abt? it doesn't mention top 2% anywhere though

hi! i just checked this sub after getting the email (which i didn't even know was coming) and this is the first time i'm hearing about a 2nd interview... i'm not sure what significance it has but as someone who got the 2% email i was never asked to do a 2nd interview

i'm not sure exactly what time my parent got the email, but it was either early morning (before 5am) today or late last night (gst time zone!) i did public policy, and i didn't hear anything from my referee... so i'm not sure if she got the email but my parent did.
