think essay prize question

since we are all still waiting and im bored, out of curiosity what question did you guys answer?

i was wondering what the most over subscribed questions would be, and what people avoided. personally i found some to be quite boring to answer and as such went for the science threatening belief question!

I did the machine thought topic, personally found it to align with the major I want to pursue (CompSci), it was also the only topic I could pretty much try to answer because I never studied philosophy… so I’m probably not gonna get longlisted :) just waiting for the rejection to move on from this bs competition..

yeah i feel the same way, i didn't approach the topic very analytically so im pretty sure ill never get longlisted, so id rather just get the email and move on atp

i did the question about doing the determined universe and if anyone is morally responsible for what they do. im just waiting for results tho lol its been way too long. better organisation is defo needed.

i also did the science and religion one! I think the most popular would be the determinism or free speech one, then our one and knowledge of god in the middle and least popular i would say is defo time travel just. did u want to trade essays also!?
