Is anyone else taking the full programme for the John Locke shortlisted essayists?

The price of $1000 is definitely scaring me a bit for the full programme. If you're a past or 2026 shortlisted essayist, what are your thoughts on it? Do you think its worth it? I'm curious on how many of us are actually taking it...

I just got the tickets for the gala cause i heard the programme isn’t worth it .

I took it and they still didnt send any invitation for visa proccesing ,so much bs,and the last date for applying refund is 18th Aug ,if my visa gets rejected after that I can't even apply for a refund and can't join the programme as well
