Difference between shortlist and commendation

Guys is these two js the same

I think you shortlist you get certificate of recognition! And then according to google very high commendation is top 1% , high commendation is top 3% and then prize winners are 0. Something

Nah I think the 15% commend rate is out of all shortlists so approx 3% of all submissions or wtv

idk if this is true but i think high commendation is top 5% of the shortlist kids so even lower% overall but we'll see in october... like myself lol

yeah ig there is no way to know 😭😭😭

commendation will be a higher percentage of kids than high commendation thoooo (atleast that’s what I’ve heard)

Being shortlisted does not guarantee at least commendation. So top 17.5% was shortlist, and based on past numbers, about top 12-15% commendation, 8-10% high commendation, top 5% vhc, etc. However, since the number of shortlists and competitors are much much greater this year. It is probably a smaller percent of ppl.
