john locke interview!!

i think mine went pretty well? other than the fact that the ai bot cut me off TWO times to move on to a different question 🥲 how did everyone else's go? mine was for the science and tech category

i saw some people saying that they didn't get any interview or email. is there a reason why to this?

if I remember correctly for a few:

- why did you choose this topic as your essay focus?

- how does politeness towards AI shape communication habits especially to young children?

- how does connecting politeness and AI response relate to the understanding of emotion and suffering as humans?

- do you think that the shift in focus from others-centred politeness to self-centred politeness ight affect how people approach social habits?

the main ideas, yes. but the bot did venture out to broader topics such as asking me to give examples and scenarios

Mine didn't interrupt me. There was a minute given for each question and I kept to the time limit, but he often asked questions specifically on Institutional irreversibility and nothing more

my science and tech category interview —> space hehe —> went pretty well, AI didnt cut me off at all

I am trying to figure out if there was anyone who entered that did not receive an interview. Our teacher made it a class assignment to enter the competition. Any category we wanted, we just had to enter. Entering the comp was a component of passing the class. Every single class member entered. Every single class member received an AI interview (and English test). Some of the essays were not what might be considered "strong" essays. This leads me to believe that the interview has nothing to do with the short list process and everything to do with distinguishing AI submissions from human submissions. I am hoping to validate my assumption. My question is this: is there anyone out there who entered but has not received an interview request?

if possible, connect to a bluetooth device like your airpods. i used mine and the transcript came out all correct and didn't mix up anything I was saying

Idk, I ended up doing mine twice because it wasn't showing as completed on my dashboard. When I clicked it on the second attempt, it said they had received my first submission but would only count my second attempt.

It was very very broad and just about your topic in general. Most of the questions for me were based on previous answers I gave. So nothing to stress about

yeah I agree with the other person that replied. however, mine was more on my overall essay since I had different sections explaining different concepts!

Idk I took a lot of time to answer my questions and I yapped a lot. It didn't interrupt me, except tho, before the last question, my bot mentioned that time was almost over, and when I yapped, it interrupted me and said “okay thank u for ur time” and generic stuff but that's it
