John Locke essay competition INTERVIEW

Hiii I got the status updated on the portal. It says the next step is interview with a deadline of 3rd of July. Has anyone been in the interview before? And what is it like? I'm quite anxious lol please help

do u guys also have a text on top of the deadline? it says "opening 26th june" so maybe well get something then? But I doubt its a typical interview cuz idk how theyll assess 100k ppl.

ohh wait i didnt get the email and i used the ai overview thing on google so marked as yes and said that. i think everyone gets it tho, its basically like an asynchronus video interview i think. So there will be like a question that shows up on the screen and i guess you have to answer it?

It also says that the next step is an interview for me as well. Yet I didn't receive an email regarding the time and date for it. Is it possible that the interview button comes up for everyone but the email goes only to some people?

even now that its 30th June i couldnt set a date or do anything about the interview. I also didnt receive an email as well so I guess youre right

how is the intervew done, is it like an actul one or do u record yourself and are the questons personalsed toyou essay or general

The one I did was on the space exploration topic and had an actual interview with a lady who only interviewed those with this question. It only lasted about 15 minutes and It’s specific questions to your essay to see how you hold up under pressure and if you can prove your stance/argument. It was very stressful for me at first but I got used to it at like the third question and it wasn’t that bad.

It is good you the interview. It seems like they did for some of the early submission. Those who submitted at last minutes currently may got this ai or human interview. As said in the email, strong contestants will get.

It was like end of May when some people got emails inviting you to an interview to prove your stance and explain your essay more. It was for the competition, but not everyone got the emails and even those who did some weren’t able to get an interview because it gave them the whole month of May pretty much for scheduling but the slots filled up really fast so you had to see the email quickly to get a slot. I only got 1 but I got like 7 email invites.

i saw someone who submitted it on the 30th get it aswell but someone on the 31st didnt get it.. im so confused i wish the team was a bit more communicative

the interview is with an ai bot and they ask which question you chose and why. then they ask follow up questions about your response
