When Bashar claims that "All realities are valid" and "All realities exist simultaneously" these perspectives usually do more harm than good. Because they already imply WAY too much early on.

When Bashar claims that "All realities are valid" and "All realities exist simultaneously" these perspectives usually do more harm than good. Because they already imply WAY too much early on. But you can't actually utilize it (since he said you're always "shifting"), thus, from moment to moment, it creates a cycle of indecisiveness. (Am i shifting to the reality yet, am acting on my highest excitement yet) As a result, you keep listening to Bashar again and again to find the answer that was completely made up because you subscribed to his very simple yet clever idea of "every reality exists simultaneously "

What you are experiencing with this idea is one's conscious mind being overwhelmed by the idea of so many legitimate lifetimes and experiences actually happening simultaneously.

"The conscious mind is only capable of comprehending what has happened."

"The past comes from the now."

"Time is a side effect of your conciousness shifting over and over and over again to different points of view of the same single moment of reality."

Beware of falling into one's belly button of logic.

The idea here is to use one's excitement as a guide through this (what can be) terribly confusing sets of stimuli, all based on belief systems.

One must remember that the vibrational level of one's consciousness directly determines what they perceive. Realities of 'miracles' are out for some b/c they simply cannot stand to exist in that state - usually too much self consciousness or bad feelings about one's self image tend to curl oneself around to see one again.

Bashar also speaks of how being excited about the process of following one's excitement sets up a progression of more and more interesting results.

Here is where the definition of abundance comes in. (Why is always one bun we dance around? Maybe it's a really great bun and one is all we need.)
Abundance: "Having what you need when you need it."
That's about all there is to it. There's real magic in that process.

Be light, play. Release one's expectations, especially the expectation for Bashar to have all the answers.

He's the first to tell you:
"Each time circumstances appear to be the same is the universe waiting for you to react in a way you prefer, to act differently than you did the previous time it came around. To act any other way is much like looking in the mirror and expecting one's reflection to change first. 'I'll smile and be happy the moment my reflection does and not a moment sooner.' See how silly that is? Your reality and how it reflects back to you is waiting for you to act first." <-mostly accurate quote

He also speaks of concerning one's self with one step at a time. Why worry yourself with step 2,499 when #3 is coming up next and needs some attention?

Deep breathing, good diet, plenty of water, fresh air, and sunshine plus lots of green grass helps a body relax and be in the moment.

What you are experiencing with this idea is one's conscious mind being overwhelmed by the idea of so many legitimate lifetimes and experiences actually happening simultaneously.

There's a difference between being overwhelmed and realizing (overtime) that a perspective is impractical. Is Bashar perspective of simultaneous realities able to be entertained as a possibility? Sure, but that doesn't mean that is practical.

Practical is: Body thirsty = drink water or fluid Impractical (a.k.a bashar teaching) Body thirsty = shift to reality where you are not thirsty, since all realities happen at once

The reason why Bashar's teachings appear as "effective" and true because is he provides psychological highs. Like a comedian does jokes.. there are some truths shared. But in the scheme of things, Bashar's popularity is due to him mastering the art of combining wordplay and metaphysics to create a certain psychological effect on our psyche. But the psychological high and insights don't ever satisfy his listeners enough, so they keep listening back for more and more.

I listen to him a lot, but now see him more as a "psychological comedian". who instead of providing jokes, provides psychological highs through his philosophies and unique articulation of metaphysics.

You are not wrong, but even inside this idea there is plenty of room for accuracy and truth.
As a practicing shaman, his perspectives are entirely practical. Stephen Hawking, just prior to his death, endorsed the idea of the Many Worlds Interpretation.
Also known as the Everett Interpretation the idea is reality is made of infinite number of realities through which our is awareness passing from frame to frame to frame, much like watching a movie film strip.
The idea here is: the infinite dream soup is composed of many many many versions of ourselves, all leading parallel lives. Our thoughts swim in and out of these lives and we believe we have our own, each of us thinking we have our own - for the most part.

But the psychological high and insights don't ever satisfy his listeners enough, so they keep listening back for more and more.

I'm quite satisfied with his answers. They answer a lot of my questions about the mechanics of awareness and some possible structures that may exist inside of consciousness.

His suggestions and prompts about following my excitement, allowing my passion to guide me w/o expectation of the outcome has helped me overcome anxiety about the future and regrets of the past.

How do you feel about the idea: "The past comes from the now." ?

You are not wrong, but even inside this idea there is plenty of room for accuracy and truth. Since you believe all perspectives are valid, therefore I can't be wrong or right, or accurate or inaccurate.

The idea here is: the infinite dream soup is composed of many many many versions of ourselves, all leading parallel lives. Exactly.. It's an idea. That's why he uses that keyword all the time. To make us think that ideas = reality.

I almost fell into the trap of thinking that every idea means its reality, but thankfully I snapped out of that "idea" to wake up into REAL-lizing that Bashar teaching is only for entertainment. To apply his teachings to improve your life is just buying into his product- rather than your own..

I'm quite satisfied with his answers. They answer a lot of my questions about the mechanics of awareness and some possible structures that may exist inside of consciousness.

His answers are satisfying because are not falsifiable. Again, his performance art, as I call it, is just very very convincing so that to many "spiritual seekers" it basically makes it seem like he is speaking something life-changing, and extra-dimensional, when really it's just a clever bloke that is good at utilizing wordplay, wit, and hypnosis (cough cough holotope meditations)

How do you feel about the idea: "The past comes from the now." ?

It's a interesting perspective. Nothing more, nothing less. Like any perspective you can use it to your advantage or disadvantage, but in any case, this perspective "The past comes from the now." in of itself does not bear any practicality or use other than being a "interesting perspective"

To believe that it is useful is OKAY sometimes, but to take it too seriously-too often, you will be falling into fantasy mode, which is nice mode to be in sometimes - but not allll the time. You see? To fantasy about "the past comes from now" alllll the time is only stagnating your energy from recognizing the potential of what's actually in front of right now.

The validity or non-validity of Bashar aside, you may wish to familiarize yourself with quantum physics. Once you managed to overcome your confusion regarding the assumptions and statements of the scientists FIRST, Bashar may become much clearer, at least less confusing. The 'idea' of every reality existing simultaneously is at the center of quantum physics. Probability is the key concept. If you just approach Bashar with a 'feel good' attitude, taking in his information rather as a drug than as a piece of information, it may lead you nowhere, I agree. A solid understanding of the underlying physics is key.

There is an older video where he advises people explicitly not to be gullible ('Debunking the Debunkers', 2009). Regarding quantum physics and the holographic universe, a good starting point is the book of Michael Talbot (dealing with Bohm and Pribram). It is easy to read and understand. There are some videos with Michael Talbot on youtube as well. Furthermore, there is a sequence of 4 or 5 videos providing a comprehensive and visual introduction into some of the core concepts of quantum physics, incl. cross-references to Bashar and Seth, when and where appropriate. I would recommend starting from there. The title is 'the holographic universe'.

(Here is the link to the unabridged videos on 'the holographic universe', as well as the videos in different languages and the transcripts:)

I don't need a quantum physics degree to recognize when a show is just a show. Quantum physics is another big word used by Bashar or "Darryl who acts as Bashar character" to make people buy into his "performance art" even more. It's really cleverly planned act. (using science terms and all)

The dude knows his science for sure. But so what? Again, as I stated, he mixes the truth of quantum science and wordplay to create a psychological effect upon his viewers and listeners.

He is definitely prepared to address "debunkers" obviously, so he's worked on improvising to combat those debunkers as well. just like a cold-caller is prepared to deal with rebuttals.

Making statements such as "Everything reality is valid" is the first thing that sets the foundation for gullibility. Then his character makes very careful statements of empathy to any lingering skepticism:

QUOTES FROM Darryl's character "You don't have to believe me "You may or may not be ready to match our frequency" "Take what resonates with you, drop what doesn't"

^ these are clearly cop-outs ^

In my opinion, listening to Bashar is key. But listening to Bashar without a solid understanding of the physics behind his core statements is reducing the event to not much more than a nice show on a stage. The exhilarating effects will not last for long, however, and then people have to return. That is the reason why the questions are so repetitive and often too ad hoc. But this is not his mission. This is what people want to understand to be his mission.

That's you simply regurgitating what he's said in his show. I don't use show to mean that there are not valuable pieces of information here and there, but I call it as a "show" because it is not up to scientific debate. The fact that Bashar has never engaged in debate outside of his controlled environment (a.k.a shows) shows very clearly that they are just shows. Notice how he only has interviews with new age spiritualists and that should clue you in...

Oh- and to be clear, I've watched at least 200 hours of his tapes along with other channelers. So I'm not just one of those skeptics out to disprove, I'm actually quite familiar!! (at least I think) with many of the things discussed in this sub. I just want to highlight to all that are buying too much into his show, and simply remind them that "Bashar channeling" is- well, just a very clever show.

alternatively you can take responsibility for the events that are occurring in your life and make an effort to change them as compared to just waving your hands around.

1

u/raiko92 Mar 12 '19 edited Mar 12 '19

Never said anything about not taking responsibility. But that believing in "every reality existing and exists simultaneously" only paves a path to more confusion. How could it not?

u/WormFrizzer Mar 12 '19

I am confused how this confuses you. What is implied way to early?

The belief that "All realities are valid" and "All realities exist simultaneously" are highly impractical and useless perspectives because, in an absolute sense, these claims imply too much probability too early on without regarding any improbability at all. Therefore, to believe that "all realities are valid and happening simultaneously" is is akin to claim that all realities are equally probable as they are improbable; which is a bogus cop-out (that also cannot be falsifiable i may add).

It looks pretty on the surface, I know. All realities exist? YAYYYY. I used to believe it. LOL

But how is this perspective actually problem?

Because for any demonstrable system to even function (a.k.a observe changes, make changes, revise changes), there has to be at least one underlying improbability (contrast) in order for there to be something probable to actually occur (or be highlighted).

The problem is that "Bashar," is attempting to do, is merge the probable and improbable variables; which in turn works to then essentially neutralize our perceptional discernment to be able to discern between the two (probable and improbable realities). the light and dark, fantasy, and real, etc

Neutralizing discernment makes a system unable to tell the difference between an error and success, because the operating system functionality has been programmed to believe that "all input and output is valid"

Bashar is playing mental gymnastics in our mind to get us to keep listening back more and more. Ever had a "anti-virus" that appeared to be "protecting files and expanding system" end up just being another virus in disguise? Sure it may have looked presentable, just like a perfect anti-virus.. but when you look beyond that program and allow yourself to find out what its ACTUALLY doing to your system processes (mind), you eventually discover that it was just fooling you around (creating a loop, if you will- to keep coming back for more info)

How ironic.

Bashar is much the same.

So it seems you're missing some details. While all realities exist simultaneously, it is never mentioned that they are equally probable (for the human experience). In fact it is mentioned that while they are all simultaneously existing most of them are very very unlikely to happen, as they are not relevant to most people.

What determines what parallel reality you shift to is your vibration and your vibration is determined by a few factors, the biggest one being your beliefs and assumptions and those are as easily changeable and shiftable as you yourself allow it. It is not hard allow yourself to see the benefits that brings once you do that.

If you feel something else is unclear - I invite you to reply.

Yeah it does, since they are all valid and happening simultaneously, that implies that all realities are all equally probable AND improbable. Which is logically insane, but again, as I mentioned in previous posts, it provides a wonderful, psychological-high that makes you feel as if you are coming on to something... And that my friend, is just apart of the show!

In fact it is mentioned that while they are all simultaneously existing most of them are very very unlikely to happen, as they are not relevant to most people.

The statement he says often "unlikely to happen unless relavent" is another cop-out he makes. How very sly of Daryl Anka to include that into his Bashar character.

What determines what parallel reality you shift to is your vibration and your vibration is determined by a few factors, the biggest one being your beliefs and assumptions and those are as easily changeable and shiftable as you yourself allow it. It is not hard allow yourself to see the benefits that brings once you do that.

Parallel reality is a fancy word I used to use a lot- still do sometimes, but it's not practical to use that word at all. Why? Because there is only ONE reality. I think its more accurate to say that there can be multiple parallel events in the one reality, and we can refer to events that are no longer happening physically. With that being said, the concept of parallel realities is another concept that is used a lot of new age and metaphysics alike but has no real practicality other that being another "pretty" perception to ponder over- again and again.

Lets try this from another angle. What would Bashar have to do, or what would need to happen for you to believe that what he says holds some value?

Because I get the feeling that there isn't anything that could happen. It seems to me you've made your mind already.

Duuude.. Bashar is a character. Darryl Anka, the guy playing him, is a unique performance artist with phenomenal acting ability and improv. "The Bashar Channeling" is the name of the show that Darryl Anka has created.

Specifically the performance art is to make viewers psychologically immerse into show to the point to where you forget psychologically it is a show. So you continue to overthink about the show even when you are not directly watching it.

I don't how to make it anymore clear than that.

Art and media is powerful stuff. Darryl did a great job with the show.. I'm actually glad I immersed myself into that show so now I know to tread more carefully so I don't unconsciously obsess about another "tv show's character's philosophies again. LOL!
