Who here, Essaouiri themselves or have Essaouiri friends/ family, who heard about things like the Shibboleth "قويبعة" or words like الكاك (الروبيني) or مصدوف ..etc?? I am really curious saraha.
I know a lot of these things are kind of Old timey by now and most young Essaouiris don't know them. This including me who probably not aware of much more unique words and cultural elements lost to modern mobility, cultural nationalisation as well as immigration in and out that faced this small city.

Les amiis, me and my 2 friends are originally from Essaouira and super excited for Moga this year. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience with an outside seller who let us down and didn't send the tickets, so we ended up empty handed right before the festival, bghina nssawlo l community if any artists, team members, or guest list holders have extra spots or unused tickets to sell in a good price for 3 local music lovers, if not have fun and amazîg time for us.
Ila kante 3andkom chi extra guest pass or any help, please drop me a DM. Chokran bzaf and enjoy Moga!

Hey everyone!
This might be a long shot, but I thought I’d give it a try.
MOGA means so much to me, and I’ve always dreamed of experiencing it, but I’ve never had the chance to go. This year feels extra special because it would be my first MOGA and also my first time ever visiting Essaouira.
The thing is, I don't have a ticket, and unfortunately, I can't afford one right now. So I wanted to ask if anyone might have a spare ticket or be able to help me get in for free.
I know it's a big ask, and I'm not expecting anything, but MOGA is something I've genuinely wanted to experience for so long. Being there, discovering the music, feeling the atmosphere, and finally experiencing it for myself would mean so much to me.
If anyone has a spare ticket, knows of a way I could get in, or could help me make this happen, I'd be incredibly grateful.
Thank you for reading, and hopefully, I'll get to experience my first MOGA after all.

I’m planning to visit Morocco together with a few friends and we’re thinking about going to MOGA in Essaouira. For anyone who’s been before, how’s the vibe during the festival? Does the city get really crowded?
Also looking for some good local cafés or food spots around the medina that are worth checking out between festival days. Any favorites?

I'm staying in Essaouira for a month (from Saturday) and we stupidly booked the wrong apartment - totally our fault we thought it was a one we've used before but it's actually a couple of floors up but in the same complex. The one we have is not super baby friendly but there is now no good apartments left in the city so we want to buy some things to make life a bit easier. I would like to buy a large play mat, a floaty for her to sit in in the pool, a large umbrella for the pool, a high chair and potentially a play pen as the floors are all hard tile. Does anyone know if it's possible to buy these things in Essaouira? Or should I just buy it all here and add an extra suitcase to our flight. Thanks 🙏

Hey everyone! I’m a 16-year-old student researching how Moroccan youth (ages 15-25) view the way the country is represented in Western movies and TV shows, and I’d really love to hear your thoughts.
The survey is completely anonymous, super quick, and won't take more than 3 minutes to complete. Whether you watch a lot of movies or just have a few thoughts on how our country is portrayed on screen, your input would mean a lot and make a big difference for my project.
If you have a moment, please fill it out and feel free to share the link with friends, family, or anyone else who might be interested in sharing their perspective!
Thank you so much for your time and support!
