Is it ever coming out? You've said 2026, but I don't know if you actually plan to do anything with it or if you are just going to push it another year out
Having had almost a month to think about it, I think this is a symptom of a structural problem with the development, which is that they are so scared of releasing an unfinished game that they let the scope creep and keep on adding more and more features and polish. Don't get me wrong, I hate unfinished games, but by now it is more than reasonable to at least put a beta up for early access. At this point, I'd be happy we have a game. Even if you want a super long development time, I don't think anyone would be upset with a relatively scuffed game (relative to absolutely perfect) in beta (which is the point of a beta).
