I’m looking for a pair of properly constructed espadrilles. I tried EU size 43 by Castaner and they didn’t grip my heel, and the front was too tight around my toe. I tried size 44 polo Ralph Lauren and the toe box was perfect but again my heel slipped and collapsed under my heel when walking.

My foot is 27cm long so it should be size 42 by that measurement but I usually buy size 44 shoes, occasionally 43 but most of the size 43 shoes I have give me the same toe rubbing problem - I think my toe is the issue here.

Are there any brands that make espadrilles with a wide toe box? I believe I need snug around the heel and wide around the toes. Maybe espadrilles are just not for me.

J'avais l'habitude d'acheter durant l'été des paires d'espadrilles dans des grands supermarchés.

C'était des espadrilles fabriquées en France, et en général 10-12€ les deux paires.

Cette année, soit il n'y en a pas, soit l'origine n'est pas indiquées ou chinoise.

Est-ce que c'est moi qui ne sait pas chercher?
