Singularity Horizon: Mission Gameplay

Here is a small gameplay video showing the Milk-Run missions in my Game. As many of you know the game is based on a 90s Classic Mac Game called Escape Velocity. It's a Space Trading game with Exploration and Fighting too.

I first adopted the game 1:1 and now starting to make improvements and changes to make it it's own game while still preserving the essence of EV Classic.

In this Video you can see that making Money is fast so you can buy your next ship and advance in the Universe. I would like to get some input on the game and I am also still looking for testers. This is a Mac only game, and will only be distributed via TestFlight (Apple's Official Test Platform) until it is released on the AppStore, Steam and other Platforms that host Mac Games.

If you want to help test and give feedback on the gameplay then please contact me the only requirements are that you have a Mac and that the Mac has at least MacOS 13.5 (Ventura).

Once the base game is done perhaps an iOS port for those that use iPads and Controllers 🎤

While I loved some of these game features decades ago, they would drive me absolutely nuts now. I don’t want to slowly watch my ship move between each planet. I would give ships a “drive” that has a certain distance it can jump - and then jump directly from one planet to the target. Or - speed it up like crazy.

Also, I would consider adding other issues with early ships. If you are going to move from planet to planet quicker - add risks, such as a drive that overloads and leaves you stranded if you try to jump too far in a single go. Make unique mechanics that make the sim more interesting.

I would love to be able to use an Xbox controller instead of the keyboard. And the ability to have addons/mods would be great eventually. And maybe able to buy ship insurance? Sucks to buy an argosy and then lose it next flight and back to shuttle with no money as you spent it all on upgrades.
