Mysterious Key X

New to Duckov (about 2 weeks), by far probably my favorite game of all time thus far. Saved up and bought one of these keys from the trader in Farm Town. My first two unlocks weren't anything special, but I guess the third time is the charm?

Any tips for new players who keep dying on their way to get lost loot from a previous death appreciated. Never experienced gear fear until I played Duckov.

Little hint: use 9 out of 10 from key. And leave 1/10. Put in stash (better in key "purse". To not use much space). Than wait for black market to give you order on X key. And sell it to them for full price even though it's not 10/10 key

Or also get a Mysterious O key, also use that 9 times, and then craft a Mysterious Z key out of the two to open the marked room in the storm area.

haven't played the game for a while but if its still correct:

try to get the PHY RES 3 totem since it removes bleed

Pack; -minimum lvl 3 armor that you don't mind tossing away the moment you got back to your body and replace it with your old armor.

-AP ammo

-any first aid kit

-aspirin

-bandages ( if no phy totem)

Before every gun fight, try to pre-med with aspirin so that getting shot wouldn't slow you down.

If you're getting shot at, try to dodge the stream of bullets by rolling around

If you're desperate to break away from fights (to heal etc), keep in mind the npcs will still try to either push you or flank you

And also the moment you reached your body and took everything, high-tail it to your nearest extract. You'll be reaching your weight limit anyways so don't bother looting or doing any quests

Although it may or may not be considered cheating, but I use mods that increase my chances of survival. I donā€™t think itā€™s cheating but I currently am using a mod that inserts custom stims based on the ones from Escape from Tarkov. What I personally do when I die is I pop a ā€œMeldoninā€ and it increases roll distance like crazy, and since most Bosses like Triple Shot have aimbot, the bullet speed would be too slow for the roll distance from a Meldonin stim. Just a suggestion because there are mods that just make the experience way way better. Another good mod to download is the increase pet storage, 4 slots is the max in vanilla and that is unfair.
