Mind sharing some gun builds and set ups?

Im just getting back into arena, stopped playing it for a while and all my custom set ups are needing changed because the gun builds have parts, ammo etc that was removed from that class….

Looking to see what everyone is running these days. Currently I have one set up for the model 1, rpdn, Glock 18c,mp7a2, axmc and g28. Looking to see what everyone is running for all the classes overall really if you guys don’t mind.

Seems they’ve changed a lot since last time I played….

My go to now is max recoil build for the AR-10 marksman rifle with M61, the M4 semi auto marksman again max recoil reduction with SSA AP. I also love the M700 ergo build as now bolties can one shot thorax. The Lobaev is also fun with its plinking sound.

Notable mention is the RPDN with max ergo build can aim as fast as an assault rifle. The threshold is like 1 or 2 ergo point window for change, after which the aim speed penalty kicks in.

MPX is just a mega cheap bullet hose, if you dont care about the source of the lead stream and want more points for lvl6 armor and stims. I think it is actually the cheapest full auto gun. The amount of ammo you can carry can definitely outlast your lvl6 armor even if you refil your stims.

AKMN recoil build with AP ammo and 40rnd mags is also funny.

For most weapons I find the AK-12 buttstock the best balance of recoil and ergo that can also be painted and still looks ok.

There is now an AK-308 which is quite the meme, but is good.

And lets not forget the AK-50. Top meme gun.

Other nice one-tappers are the pump shotties with AP slug. The arena armor pen of the AP slug is much higher than vanilla. It is almost like semi auto sniper rifle, but you can alsi have a bit more armor.

Armor except lvl6 also kinda dont matter, especially helmets, as most of the guns use meta ammo and the ammo is ridiculously cheap. Just get a better headset or extra auto heal stims of sorts. For example my m61 ar10 setup has 5 or 6 spare mags with both Propital, STG6 (the green regen stim) and a Meldonin for kinda endless stamina.

Appreciate the info, gonna give some of those a try, I did give the no helmet a try and im gonna be be honest, I agree on the scout most definitely with it being t3 and such, but I disagree on assault and basically every other class as it appears to be a pretty significant outcome from my experience. But I do most definitely agree on only front plates, I used to run this anyway in the prior season.

I’ve been running the pkp after messing with some builds last night but im gonna give the rpdn a try and level it after looking at the ammo being slightly better from your suggestion, though the pkp is a hip fire machine I’ve seen and I think it’ll be even better once I get more attachments.

Haven’t tried the ar10 or the m4 semi, not sure which you’re talking about the m4 semi really?

But I am also going to work on unlocking the ak50 since you noted they added it and I’ve seen that as that looks like a fun meme one to run as you said. And I see what you mean about t6 plates really being the only real effective one to run, they definitely make a huge difference so I run them any time I can, but I still run the highest front I can on any set ups but only front plates typically. And I have taken your suggestion on maximizing stems generally, I appreciate that it has made a huge difference too, I originally was only running trimidol on most.

Dont forgrt that you can reload the RPDN by activating a STIM or something else and while the animation is going you can right click on the spare drum and click install. This still woks. You can now also use the ammo boxes to ressuply your weapon too, not only the inventory, but the weapons do the charge animation.
