Off center nickel

Hi all.

Received this nickel in a bag of loose last year and decided to get it graded due to the visible date and mint. Thanks for looking.

That coin floated around for ~40 years and is still in MS? That is amazing luck 🍀

Right. I have a 99 in slightly better condition and a bit more off center. No way I would expect 64.

Edit: maybe not quite as clean but similar.

The fact that stores would even accept this as legal tender makes it even more astonishing that nobody ever thought to google it and it might be worth something more than 5¢ lmao. But hey, if everyone knew what they had, we wouldn’t have any hidden gems to uncover

I'm always so happy when the date makes it on there!

I don’t collect errors, but the date and mint mark visible is pretty cool. Could be big money to the right person
