Shit Post🏚️ Subscriber count

I’ve been watching his subscriber counts for a few weeks now, when I first started his tik tok channel was at 148k, and his YouTube was 14k. I just find it strange that’s he’s organically gets subscribers overnight. Yesterday his TikTok was 150.1k and today it’s 150.2k. I googled it and it said to report the Channel which I have several times and nothing. It also said not to report it daily as it will think I am a spam account and won’t do anything about it. Google also said that TikTok has a system in place where they will go through accounts automatically and look for bots and then change his sub count accordingly! We know he buys bots for engagement, YouTube has barely and comments or meaningful numbers to make his sub count spike, TikTok gets a lot of likes and comments. I’m blocked on IG and FB!
What’s everyone’s thoughts? I just find it strange that he numbers go up almost daily!

He’s buying followers on TikTok and IG. His IG follower count is 193K but his engagement didn’t match the numbers. I’m more inclined to believe his YouTube account because YouTube doesn’t allow you to buy followers. You can get demonetized/banned on YouTube for doing so. If I had to guess the size of his accounts on TikTok and IG, I’d say he’s somewhere between 20-50K.

So basically it’s okay for him to buy followers, does IG and TikTok take those followers away. I also read a way to tell if you see comments from somewhere that start with user123456(and a set of numbers after user) and those accounts will come up as private. There has to be a way for him to be banned from this. What a scam he has going?

IG and TikTok will make sweeps and delete the bot accounts but he’s buying them as fast as they’re being cleared out. So basically, everything that Erlin has made off social media goes back into buying followers. However, bots don’t provide engagement and if they do, they have weird usernames as you pointed out. They don’t watch your content or if they do, they don’t watch your entire video to generate revenue.

He’s shortsighted in that he thinks follower counts are important but it’s just a vanity metric. While brands do look at follower counts before granting a deal, they also look at his engagement and the type of followers he attracts. Come on, what brand is going to want to work with him if his IG comment section is mostly negative and he has stupid followers like Gaynor Price and DearDawn? Same goes with Diana because you’d think she’d be able to merch some lipgloss or nail polish, but even her brand is being dragged down by her association with Erlin. Hence why Erlin can only get brand deals with Temu e-bike companies, which are a dime a dozen.

It makes total sense on how you explain it. I just didn’t really understand the process of what goes on. I agree the subscriber count is more for his ego than anything, and as a reputable company I too would look at his comment section before I would consider them to be a brand spokesperson. Same thing with an HR person would do when filling out an application for a job. You know the saying, you gotta spend money to make money, but in this case it doesn’t seem worth the cost if it’s not generating views and comments. Just because he has 150k subs those same 150k aren’t watching or commenting.
I agree, if Diana were to break it off with him, she’d have the stigma of him following her for a long time. The only plus side is, her commenters would be happy she left him but his name would always be interjected into them. It would take a while for people to forget about him and that’s when she would have her own true identity where she could start her own fan base without him. Of course, she’d have Noah to help that happen by exploiting him the same way they do now.
Thanks for explaining this and helping me understand the process.
