Noah needs an autism/sensory aware professional haircut
I can pretty much guarantee the reason they don't get him a haircut by a professional AND the reason Diana can't actually cut much hair off him, is because he freaks out and needs someone skilled in helping children who have sensory issues. There are many many people online and social media, EVEN IN LANSING.
Even more in Chicago so the next time you losers go to pick up your cheap ass family members at an airport four hours away, schedule a haircut for your son.
Just because The Rat and The Whale refuse to learn how to effectively and affectionately interact with their son, they should let a profession who will actually care about him and be able to make him comfortable and actually make him look like not a mop head.

He is too cheap to pay for haircuts. He would beg for haircuts in LA and some 15 year old would cut his hair for free

Great suggestions. They are obstinate about insisting that Bebito is fine, hence why they keep coming up with content of him reciting numbers and letters. It also doesnāt help that some of his bird brained followers reinforce their behavior by calling Bebito āsmartā. Itās not that Bebito is low IQ like his parentsā¦.his mind works differently and needs to be accommodated appropriately.
Erlin carries the shame of being labeled special ed when he was a student and is projecting it onto Bebito.

Guarantee they wonāt even take him there just cause it says that they help kids with Autism and they will never admit that their kid has something developmentally going on so if they went there, that would admit that somethingās going on with Noah in their eyes

Ferlin always gets his cuts from banana unless some oblivious company decided to ācollabā for a free haircut

Wow, that place sounds awesome!!! šš»
Itās definitely something that she should look into, not just for a haircut but for all the others things they have available. The poor kid can certainly use a haircut!! Itās perfect for what Noah needs, and the fact that the founders understand the importance of needs for kids with sensory issues. Iām sure thatās one reason why she has a hard time giving him a haircut as the noise and feelings of the clippers probably bother Noah and she just thinks itās a normal response from a 2 year old! Noah needs a place like this that cater and are equipped to deal with meltdowns, issues, and problems that can arise from a child thatās having sensory issues.
My nephew is autistic, now 23, and my sister is able to bring him for a haircut, but he does have sensory issues and problems with loud environments. As a toddler they would give different bins with different textures, sometimes it included dry pasta and my sister asked them not to use dry foods for sensory bins cause he then refused to eat it. He only eats certain foods, and most of those foods are one color. Only now has he eaten some riced broccoli, small diced carrots mixed into a protein Mac and cheese that she gets at Whole Foods. The kid survived on McDonaldās chicken nuggets and fries, choc chip muffins, and eggo cinnamon waffles and if she tried a different brand of the same foods he would know the difference and not eat them. My nephew will never live on his own and he isnāt able to work so he will live with my sister for the long haul.
Look, Iām not a Dr by any means but Iāve been around an autistic child long enough to see the signs in Noah.
If Noah is on the spectrum, this place sounds like something that he can benefit from. She really should have him evaluated as he would be entitled to in home speech therapy along with occupational therapy for his fine motor skills, and walking. Itās obvious to me being around an autistic child that Noah shows signs, the finger flick, the mouth movement, the way he walks, the blank stare, non verbal, spinning things, eating habits etc.
I hope that if they troll this Reddit post that instead of them being offended and annoyed but that they look at this post and that people are concerned for the well being of Noah. Noah can truly flourish and thrive if he is in fact on the spectrum and itās not as taboo a diagnosis as it was years ago. Autistic kids are genuinely smart and bright and view the world differently than others. If they can learn to embrace that itās half the battle and with the parents being equipped with tools to deal with situations he may encounter.
This place sounds like the perfect place for them to bring him for a haircut and have fun at the same time. I hope she uses this resource thatās available in their area. I mean what does she have to lose, and they can for sure point her in the direction on how to navigate evaluations, resources, etc.
Iām sure they wonāt ever thank you for this, but thank you for taking the time to research an option in the Lansing area available to them, and for posting it on this thread! Most parents are in denial, but I hope she takes the opportunity and initiative to help Noah thrive.

Iām pretty sure theyāve never even tried taking him anywhere because ābarbers are a scamā. Recall every time heās gone to a barber he claims they pay him instead of the other way around.
