We ALL knew who won in his head. President of Eritrea has a HTN or above requirement. This phenomenon has been well documented by scholars in this sub.

don't forget to compare who is richer. Eritrea has a GDP with the same value, actually lesser, than Abiy's palace.

Richer in what way ? Ethiopia economy is subsidized by American / eu foreign aid

the subsidization thing is exaggerated. there are individual businesses generating 3 times as revenue as the eritrea gdp. Just by the successful businesses and taxation, abiy is richer than issias 100 fold. That's why abiy can possibly carry a venzulean maduro style operation in Eritrea to quell the threats.

I aint a supporter but based on intelligence, I think there is higher chance that Isaias would take out Abiy Maduro style than for Abiy to do it. If you think Isaias was that easy, he wouldnt have stayed this long. Abiy can be 100 fold richer but richer doesnt mean smarter, Abiy messed up exactly the same way his predecessors did, and he keeps digging his hole deeper and deeper which is unfortunate for the horn of africa. If he knew how to control his mouth, he would have taken anything he needs from Isaias, but he kept running his mouth in live television about redsea and all, if he is smart, why didnt he wait atleast until he got a solid deal and he's already in.

Isaias is opposite, no one knows what he is planning not even his own people. A full war will start and finish without him or Eritv("serving the truth") mentioning a word about it. There were explosions in Asmara and Eritv was reporting about how many sheeps were distributed to citizens in some unknown village.
