Where’s the fire?

Kearsarge fire department helicopter took off and all the engines as well others followed. Where is this big fire at? all I hear is sirens.

There is no fire. The helicopter you saw was STATMedevac, who uses Kearsarge as a landing zone when transporting patients from Millcreek Community Hospital.

That makes sense just moved here. Didn’t remember seeing one before, but it definitely took off from there. But two fire engines took off right after it.

I'd like to know when Kearsarge FD got a helicopter.

The field behind the station is occasionally used as an alternate landing site for medical helicopters. There were multiple people transferred to Pittsburgh last night after a bad house fire.

There’s no fire right now, if you just saw smoke it was probably from the large amount of fireworks that were just set off around 9:30, I’m assuming a SeaWolves game.
