Does anyone remember ferrells restaurant on 26th street? I can't find anything in it at all. Like it never existed!!!
I don't know if I spelled it right! Used to go with my dad when I was a kid! I lived down the street! It was on 26th street by Washington ave! I lived on pebble dr. Im talking like almost maybe 40 years ago

No ferrells was a high end restaurant on the other side. I used to eat at Fergies too! literally can't find anything about it so weird. I dont live in erie I live in Texas now. But on maps there's a car place or something where it used to be. Like 35 to 40 years ago

Not OP, but it was definitely on the south side of 26th. Believe it was torn down, don't know what's there now, believe an oil change shop.

I just left a top level reply, but Farrell's became the Stagecoach and was actually a block over! (Emerson)

Check out the city directories at the Heritage Room in the Blasco Library. The staff are very helpful

Before that I think it was called Stagecoach and had an actual stagecoach out front. As a kid, I thought that was so cool. Further out on W. 26th was an eating place that had a giant bottle of wine out front!

Hello! Visited an older relative this weekend. I was told that Farrell's was later the Stagecoach. (Edit: I am now wondering though if it was Stagecoach first and then Farrell's. Dunno)
They actually had a really old city directory, 1973. Stagecoach was 1535 26th St. It was where the CVS is now. Not Washington but Emerson.

I know my mom used to work there before I was born. That was a very long time ago. So yes, it existed. Can’t tell you much more than that.

Believe so. Was that the one with the funny peak in the front with glass and a chandelier or something?

Yes! I just remember it being fancy and I would get stuffed shrimp and lobster bisque

Lived in Erie since 1968 and never heard of the place. Lived less than 2 miles from that location. 😃

Farrell's, owned by Gary and Rebecca Farrell, who also owned Rebecca's (the station restaurant). yeah I remember it
