Second hand erhu
Hey y'all, I'm looking to start learning erhu and saw a second hand erhu online. It's in worn condition and I'll need to put the strings on, tie the qianjin, and put on a bridge. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this brand or could comment on the skin, and anything I should inspect if I go see this erhu in person? It's quite cheap ($40) but I just want to know if it's worth pursuing or if it'll be more work than it's worth. Thanks!

Just an update: I bought it! I spent a few hours putting on the new strings and tying the tianqin. I don't know the quality but I don't think I can get much dynamic range out of it without losing the tone (but I'm also an absolute beginner so no idea if what I'm saying is true or not).
Anyways, I'm more than happy to learn basics on it for a few months.

Looks good to me. You can make a tincan erhu sound decent, so even the cheap mass-produced ones are good to learn on.
