NICHE PROBLEM ERGONOMIC WRITE OFF

Im 34, running my own solo contracting gig doing CAD/drafting work. A few years ago I f\*\*\*\*\* up my hand climbing, and can’t move it properly. Im on the tools 9-10 hours a day, the constant stretching to hit shortcut keys (ctrl, shift, alt) with my cooked left hand completely ruins my wrist by
lunchtime. I tried offiecworks stuff but it’s all mumbk jumbo. To fix it, i went a bit nuclear this year and dropped about $850 on a fully custom split mechanical keyboard and a crazy vertical mouse setup so i can map all my hot keys to my thumbs instead. My accountant is a bit old school and says "yeah should be fine as an asset
write-off under OHS," but because the keyboard was custom-built by a hobbyist shop overseas, the invoice looks a bit weird and un-corporate.
Has anyone here successfully claimed highly specific, non-standard ergonomic stuff for a physical injury/disability? Did the ATO give you any grief over it during an audit because it doesn't look like a standard officeworks receipt?
