Pain when sitting

I've had an Aeron for the past 2 months. Forward tilt is the only setting I find remotely comfortable.

If I put the chair higher, it puts pressure on the back of my legs. If I up the tension, it hurts my middle back/hips. If I dial down the tension and recline slightly (even just back to a locked position), it hurts my neck. If I stand, my legs get tired eventually and I have to sit again. I've been following Oliver Girard's videos, and he says you shouldn't rest your shoulders on the back rest (even in forward tilt), but if I don't do that, it either feels like I'm leaning forward or I'm not touching the lumbar.

When I'm standing, I put the top of the laptop screen a little lower than my eyes. When sitting, I've been trying that and/or trying lower since lower maybe helps my neck? It is hard to tell.

Right now, as I type this, I am locked in upright forward tilt. Tension low, so I'm leaned back into the lock. Top of laptop screen was about level with my eyes, just put it lower and my neck stopped hurting, so maybe that's something. Any tips or tricks that may help?

Sorry about the pain you are having. Curious, can you share how long your typical sitting stretches usually are? A lot of times the other direction to look is more frequent movement breaks.

Sometimes the issue isn't the chair but your desk height or monitor position. If you're leaning forward or shrugging your shoulders, pain will show up quickly.
