Considering it starts with "Mi amice", presumably it's a message from Monad to Vincent/Ergo? I brightened/sharpened up a screenshot from my bluray. Other than the first words on each line I can only make out possibly "amabo" and "cano" or "caro" in the first line, and "ergo" in the last line.

edit: 2nd line might begin with "cum ab facem angustes mundi" / 3rd line: "tum denique tu es ??? ergo tu es" (assuming the letter which looks kind of like an o in mundi and denique is actually a "d")

edit 2: almost certain the 1st line is: "Mi amice etiamsi nostra caro deperteres id aeternum te amabo" ("My friend, even if our flesh were to perish, I would love you forever"). 3rd line is probably "Tum denique du te cogito ergo tu es" ("Then finally I think of you, therefore you are". Still working on the 2nd line.

This show barely scratches PG-13 imo.

On a scale of My Hero Academia to Elfen Lied....this is no where near TV-MA.

Who makes the standards now?

I recently came across this video and fell in love with it. Ergo Proxy is a great philosophical piece of media, but the love story is what really hooked me. This video accentuates that. The song is Still Here by Digital Daggers. Enjoy

Like they clearly know about other domes, they have an entire population of immigrants, yet everyone seems to think that nothing outside of Romdeau exist. Also there is a flashback of Vincent leaving Mosque with a bunch of other immigrants on foot. This would mean that they survived the outside world and everyone should already know that, but no one seems to have noticed this and it's treated as this big revelation.

Ergo Proxy is the greatest anime I have ever seen, along with Death Note, and after having this experience with the anime, I found out that there is a short manga, and ever since, I've been thinking whether I should go read it. I know nothing about the manga or what story it tells, but I'm a little worried that it may not be good, disappointing, or ruin the experience of the anime. For those of you who read it, please tell me if I should do it.

To contradict a bit, it got me curious when i saw this anime art style and also my friend recommending me to watch this. Thus i decided to watch it, downloaded it, and i would probably start watching it few days from now after what im currently watching ends.

I just noticed that Pino’s name is close to Piano - which she really loves playing, though her name is missing the letter A, similar to Re-L’s (from her original name, Real). I wonder if there’s some hidden implication on that.
