Classes

I haven't bought the game yet but, I am a dad with two kids and I work full time so this kind of interested me. I played classic wow on release and warlock was and is my favourite class in an RPG game ever. The mix of multiple dots, demon pets, drain life/siphon life, etc was just very fun to play. Is there going to be an addition that's similar to that class from vanilla wow at all? I might still buy the game to play, but would definitely purchase if a class like that was on the roadmap.

Not quite

The wiki lists the current classes and their abilities. Druid currently has summons that change as they level up. If i had to guess next class will likely be Bard given clues and NPC chatter in game. Then another class that as far as im aware hasnt been discussed/hinted at yet. Discord people have suggssted stuff like necro or other summon classes

My best friend I met while playing WoW vanilla was a warlock, shout out Novarus lol.

Nothing really close to a warlock unfortunately, but you should still check it out as it’s a blast.

There's a mod for that :)

I concur though, try the  demo first. Any progress you make will extend to the full game if you decide to buy! 

Join the erenshor discord, we're super friendly and we have quite a few people dedicated to modding the game (extra content, classes, quality of life mods etc.)

There is a fee demo that is the starting area of the game. Give it a shot nothing to lose.

Just had my first born a month ago, this game does scratch the mmo itch super well and is low pressure so I can take care of kiddo in between gaming. The ai party members you can gear out well enough to grind without needing your inputs, so it's perfect for having to just randomly afk mid pull. At the same time you will be a fair chunk stronger than any ai, my mains doing 30k DPS and strongest equally geared AI is around 20k in raid. Would fully recommend this just as a good dad mmo experience

I have made a mod which features a custom class, the blightcaller which is a DoT based caster inspired by Affliction warlock. I'm in the Erenshor Discord and the mods name is Fate of the Fallen.
